Solve tan^2(x)=(1/3) for x on [0,2pi]
Thanks!

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solve tan^2(x)=(1/3) for x on [0,2pi]
-------
Take the sqrt of both sides to get:
tan(x) = 1/sqrt(3) or tan(x) = -1/sqrt(3)
------
x = pi/6 or (7/6)pi or (5/6)pi or (11/6)pi
