Question 795116: Express the following question in terms of a single trigonometric function in the simplest form for all values for which the angle x or theta is defined.
(sin theta)(cos theta)divided by (tan theta)
I just need to know the steps to do it then i can do it on my own.

Answer by harpazo(655)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Hint:
tant = sint/cost
cos^2 t = 1-sin^2 t
Convert every trig function, in this case tant, to sint and cost.
Then, by substituting the above value for
cos^2 t, your fraction will look like
sint(1-sin^2t)/sint
Can you finish now?
There is only one final step needed and you're done.
