Find the exact value of sin(t/2) if csc(t)=5/4 and t is an acute angle?
***
csc(t)=5/4
sin(t)=4/5
cos(t)=3/5 (working with 3-4-5 right triangle)
Calculator check:
sin(t)=4/5
t≈53.13º
t/2≈26.565º
sin(t/2)≈sin(26.565º)º≈0.4472
exact value=√20/10≈0.4472
