Question 756943: Where do the graphs of y=-2 cos(x) and the line y=sqrt 2 intersect on the interval 0<=x<=2pi?
Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = -2cos(x)
y = sqrt 2
-2cos(x) = sqrt 2
cos (x) = sqrt 2/-2
cos (x) = -0.7071
(x) = 3pi/4, 5pi/4
Hope this helps.
