Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
r = 2 csc(theta)
divide both sides by csc(theta)
use the trig identity csc(theta) = 1/sin(theta)
r sin(theta) = 2
y = 2 is the rectangular form
(since y = r sin(theta))
