Question 735042: verify the identity
cosx+sinx(tanx)=secx

Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
tan is sin/cos.

sec is 1/cos

cosx + sinx(sinx/cosx) = 1/cosx

Multiply all the terms by cosx

cos^2x + sin^2x = 1 ---That is true, so the original identity is true.
