Answer by checkley79(3341)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6x^2-4x-12=0

x=(-(-4)+-sqrt(-4^2-4*6*-12))/2*6
x=(4+-sqrt(16+288))/12
x=(4+-sqrt304)/12
x=(4+-17.4356)/12
x=(4+17.4356)/12
x=21.4356/12
x=1.786 ans.
x=(4-17.4356)/12
x=-13.4356/12
x=-1.12 ans.
