I am trying to verify this equation:
(1 + csc 3B/sec 3B) - cot 3B = cos 3B
----------
The parentheses don't serve any purpose.
What is the numerator on the left side? csc? or 1 + csc?
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
verify this equation:
(1 + csc 3B/sec 3B) - cot 3B = cos 3B
---
Multiply thru by sec(3B) to get:
------------------
sec(3B) + csc(3B) - sec(3B)*cot(3B) = sec(3B)*cos(3B)
----
sec + csc - (1/cos)(cos/sin) = sec*cos
------
sec + csc - (1/sin) = 1
sec + csc - csc = 1
sec(3B) = 1
----
That does not verify the equation.
