Question 700577: y= 3cos(2 pix + 4pi)
Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y= 3cos(2 pix + 4pi)
Equation of cos function:
y=Acos(Bx-C), A=amplitude, period=2π/B, phase shift=C/B
For given cos function:
y=3cos(2πx+4π)
amplitude=3
B=2π
period=2π/B=2π/2π=1
phase shift: C/B=4π/2π=2 (shift to the left)
