Question 683000: Solve: csc^2x-2cot^2x=0
Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
For interval [0,π]
Solve: csc^2x-2cot^2x=0
(1/sin^2x)-(2cos^2x/sin^2x)=0
divide by sin^2x
1-2cos^2x=0
cos^2x=1/2
cosx=1/√2=√2/2
x=π/4
