Question 67833: sketch the graph f(x)=-2 + 2x -x2
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sketch the graph f(x)=-2 + 2x -x^2
f(0)= -2
f(1)=-1
f(-1)=-2-2-1=-5
The vertex is at x=-b/2a=-2/-2=1
So the vertex is at (1,-1) and you have other
points (0,-2), (-1,-5)
With that you should be able to sketch the parabola.
