Please help me find the amplitude, period and phase shift for this function. y=11 cos[8(x+pi/3)]
**
Equation for cos function: y=Acos(Bx-C), A=amplitude, period=2π/B, phase shift=C/B
For given equation: y=11 cos[8(x+pi/3)]=11 cos[8x+8pi/3)]
Amplitude=11
B=8
period=2π/B=2π/8=π/4
C=8π/3
phase shift=C/B=(8π/3)/8=π/3 (shift to the left)
