Question 637990: i need to find all solutions in the domain 3 tan(x/2)+3= 0 but if it makes it easier i simplified it down to tan(x/2)= -1 pleeeeeze help thanks
Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
find all solutions in the domain 3 tan(x/2)+3= 0
let us continue from where you left off:
For domain [0,360º]
tan(x/2)=-1
x/2=135º (in quadrant II where tan<0)
x=270º
or
x/2=315º (in quadrant IV where tan<0)
x=630º
