Question 63587: 2tanx=13
Do I divide both sides by 2?
If so, then what?
I just don't get it.

Answer by joyofmath(189)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2tanx=13
Yes, you divide both sides by 2.
Then you get tanx=(13/2)=6.5
Then you need a calculator to compute arctan(6.5) which is about 81.25384 degrees.
