Question 609073: Can you verify tan(-x)csc x cos(-x)= -1
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
tan(-x)csc x cos(-x)= -1
-tan(x)csc(x)cos(x)= -1
-tan(x)*(1/sin(x))*cos(x) = -1
-tan(x)*(cos(x)/sin(x)) = -1
-tan(x)*cot(x) = -1
-1 = -1
So this verifies the identity.
