Question 605381: find the length of 2v if v= <2, -4, 5>
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The length of v is sqrt(2^2 + (-4)^2 + 5^2) = sqrt(4+16+25) = sqrt(45) = 3*sqrt(5)

So the length of 2v is 2*3*sqrt(5) = 6*sqrt(5) units long
