what is the expression csc x ÷ cot x equivalent to ?
--------------
= csc*tan
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
csc(x)/cot(x)
csc(x)/( 1/tan(x) )
csc(x)*tan(x)
(1/sin(x))*(sin(x)/cos(x))
sin(x)/(sin(x)cos(x))
1/cos(x)
sec(x)
So csc(x)/cot(x) = sec(x) for all allowed domain values of x.
