Simplify (1-cos^2 (theta))/ (1+cot^2 (theta))

Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Simplify (1-cos^2 (theta))/ (1+cot^2 (theta))
use x for theta
(1-cos^2x)/(1+cot^2x)
(1-cos^2x)/(1+cos^2x/sin^2x)
(1-cos^2x)/(sin^2x+cos^2x)/sin^2x)
(1-cos^2x)/(1/(sin^2x))
(1-cos^2x)/(1/(1-cos^2x))
(1-cos^2x)^2
