Question 587878: cos^2x-sin^2x=2cos^2x-1 verify the identity
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
cos^2x-sin^2x=2cos^2x-1 verify the identity
-----
Since sin^2 = 1-cos^2,
substitute to get:
cos^2 - (1-cos^2)
= 2cos^2-1
