Question 583789: If f(x)= 9x + 1, find f^-1 (f (3) )
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The function f(x) is linear, so f(x) is one to one and has an inverse. This means that f^-1(f(x)) = x for all x in the domain.

So f^-1(f(3)) = 3
