Question 562074: Hi, my name is michelle. im working on a midterm review that i have tomorrow at 12. im stuck on a problem. the question states, If and g(x)= x+1, evaluate (f of g)(x) and g (f (x) ) . What type of function is f(x) g(x)? Please help im very confused. so far i have

First: g(f(x))=x^2-3x+2+1=x^2-3x+3
Second: f(g(x))=(x+1)^2-3(x+1)+2=x^2-x
f(x)g(x)= x^3-2x^2-x+2. What type of function is it? I'm not sure exactly what they mean by that, but it is a polynomial for sure.
