Question 543637: Establish the Identity:
1) tan^2(x)sin^2(x)=tan^2(x)-sin^2(x)
thank you so much for the help, i really appreciate it!

Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Establish the Identity:
1) tan^2(x)sin^2(x)=tan^2(x)-sin^2(x)
**
Starting with left side:
tan^2(x)sin^2(x)
(sin^2x/cos^2x)*(1-cos^2x)
[sin^2x-sin^2xcos^2x)]/(cos^2x)
(sin^x/cos^2x)-(sin^2x*cos^2x)/cos^2
tan^2x-sin^2x
left side=right side
identity verified
