=[(sinθ+cosθ)^2-1]/sinθ
=[sin^2+2cosθsinθ+cos^2-1]/sinθ
=[1-1+2cosθsinθ]/sinθ (using the identity sin^2θ+cos^2θ=1)
=2cosθsinθ/sinθ
=2sinθ (by canceling out common factors)
