Question 516326: Find all values of x [0,2pi] that satisfy equation
2cosx+sin2x-0
How do I go about solving this
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find all values of x [0,2pi] that satisfy equation
2cosx+sin2x-0
----
2cos(x) + 2sin(x)cos(x) = 0
-----
Factor:
2cos(x)[1 + sin(x)] = 0
2cos(x) = 0 or 1+sin(x) = 0
cons(x) = 0 or sin(x) = -1
x = 0 or 2pi ; or x = (3/2)pi
