Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve cos 2x-2 sin^2x +2 = 0 for ALL values of x
**
cos 2x-2 sin^2x +2 = 0
Identity: cos(2x)=1-2sin^2x
1-2sin^2x-2sin^x+2=0
-4sin^2x+3=0
4sin^2x=3
sin^2x=3/4
take sqrt of both sides
sinx=√3/2
x=π/3+2πn and 2π/3+2πn, n=integer
