Question 503428: tan0 < zero, sin0 < zero name the quadrant in which angle lies
Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
tan0 < zero, sin0 < zero name the quadrant in which angle lies
**
tan=sin/cos
So we must find the quadrant where sin<0 and cos>0 which will give tan<0
sin<0 in quadrants III and IV
cos>0 in quadrants I and IV
In quadrant IV, tan=(-sin/cos)<0
ans:
quadrant IV
