How to solve for x?

y = sin-1(2x - 1)

Take the sine of both sides

sin(y) = sin(sin-1(2x - 1)

sin(y) = 2x - 1

sin(y) + 1 = 2x

sin(y) + 1
覧覧覧覧覧 = x
     2

    sin(y) + 1
x = 覧覧覧覧覧
        2
