Question 47884: Please help with solving the following trigonometric equations for the given domain:
sinx = cos(x) .....on [0,2]
sin2x =.......on [0,2]
what do they mean when they say on[0,2] ? can you provide an explaination or an example please?? thank you.
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sinx = cos(x) .....on [0,2pi]
sin2x =.......on [0,2pi]
0 and 2pi are radian measure
The problem says "For what angles does the sin equal the cos? ; limit your
solution to angles from 0 and 2pi radians".
The answer is pi/4 and (5/4)pi.
Cheers,
Stan H.
