Question 474318: 1. What is the approximate value of b when angle C = 106 degrees, angle B = 28 degrees and c = 36 ?
I have written the problem out but i just do not understand how to get the c = 36. Do i divide or multiply? can you show how to get answer? I need a step by step description to have a better understanding.

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What is the approximate value of b when angle C = 106 degrees, angle B = 28 degrees and c = 36 ?
------
Use the Law of Sines:
b/sin(B) = c/sin(C)
---
b = sin(B)[c/sin(C)]
---
b = 0.4695[36/0.9613]
----------
b = 17.5831..
