Question 466261: (5/x)=(10/3x)+4 (assuming x≠0; note:LCD=3x)
(5/x)(3x)=(10/(3x))(3x)+(4)(3x)⇛
15=10+12x⇛
5=12x⇛
5/12=x
How could you verify the solution? (please justify your response)
Thank you so much!

Answer by sudhanshu_kmr(1152)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

x = 5/12
to verify the solution, put the value on equation, value at left hand side will equal to value at right hand side.
L.H.S = 5/(5/12)=12
R.H.S = 10/(15/12) + 4 = 12
Verified.
