Question 454002: solve cos(x/2)=(√2/2) if 0<=x<360
Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve cos(x/2)=(√2/2) if 0<=x<360
..
cos(x/2)=sqrt((1+cos x)/2)=√2/2
square both sides
((1+cos x)/2)=2/4=2/4=1/2
1+ cos x=1
cos x=0
x=π/2,3π/2
