Question 453421: solve this plzz:
sin^2xcosx-1=0
&
cos2x-3sinx=2

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sin^2x * cosx - 1 = 0
---
(1-cos^2)(cos) = 1
---
-cos^3+cos-1 = 0
cos^3-cos+1 = 0
----
That doesn't lead to anything interesting.
Are you sure you posted the problem
correctly?

=============================

cos(2x)-3sinx = 2
---
1-2sin^2 -3sin = 2
---
2sin^2+3sin+1 = 0
Factor:
(2sin+1)(sin+1) = 0
---
sin(x) = -1/2 or sin(x) = -1
---
x = 330 degrees or 210 degrees or 270 degrees
