if a right triangle has an acite angle such that the Cot(theta)= 15, what is the Cos(theta)?
..
use x for theta
cot x is defined as adjacent/opposite sides=15/1
By Pythagorean Theorem,
The hypotenuse = sqrt(15^2+1)=sqrt(225+1)=sqrt(226)=15.03..
cos x=adjacent side/hypotenuse=15/15.03 (ans)
