Question 410719: Please help me verify this equation:
(sec x +tan x) (1-sin x) = cos x
Answer by lwsshak3(11628) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(sec x +tan x) (1-sin x) = cos x
.
(sec+tan)(1-sin)=cos
starting with left-hand side
((1/cos)+(sin/cos))(1-sin)
=((1+sin)/cos)(1-sin)
=1-sin^2/cos
=cos^2/cos
=cos
solution: left-hand side = right-hand side
