Question 397889: Please solve 1+3Sinx=0
Thank you

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please solve 1+3Sinx=0
3sin(x) = -1
sin(x) = -1/3
---
x = sin^-1(-1/3) = -19.47 degrees, if x is in the 4th Quadrant.
If x is in the 3rd Quadrant the answer is 180+19.47 = 219.47 degrees.
