a. a=117 ft, b=16.35 ft

Hi,

a. a=117 ft, b=16.35 ft Applying the Pythagorean Theorem a^2 + b^2 = c^2
117^2 + 16.35^2 = c^2
c =
b. ∠B = 8° 29' OR (57°24' = (8° + 29/60)° = 8.4833° and a = 32.8 ft
cos(8.4833°) = adj/hyp = 32.8 /c
c = 32.8/cos(8.4833°) = 33.16
May find a if You wish by Applying the Pythagorean Theorem

Calculator makes short work of finding a
