Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If cscθ=-5/4 and 180 degrees<θ<270 degrees, find tanθ
------
csc = r/y
If csc = -5/4, r = 5 and y = -4
---
Then x = sqrt[5^2-4^2] = 3
But theta is in the 3rd quadrant, so x = -3
---
Therefore tan(theta) = y/x = -4/-3 = 4/3
