Question 384428: A) Calculate Angle E if Cos E = 0.812
B) Calculate Angle E if Tan E = 5/3

Answer by richard1234(7193)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A) E = arccos (.812) + 2n(pi)
B) E = arctan (5/3) + n(pi)
n is some integer, I added a multiple of pi since the cosine and tangent functions are periodic with periods 2pi and pi.
