From the ones places, we get p + f = p, so we know f = 0.
From the tens places, we get 2*o = 10+p, and carrying the one over to the hundreds place gives us 1 + p =o, so we have the system:
2o = 10 + p
1 + p = o.
By direct substitution ofthe bottom equation into the top equation, we get
2(1+p) = 10+p, or
2 + 2p = 10 + p, or
p = 8. Then o = 9.
Thus we have
