At a distance of 1000 feet from a building the angle of elevation to the top of the building is 36 degrees. Find the height of the building to the nearest foot.
angle of elevation = 36 degrees
ground distance = 1000 feet.
Tan 36 = height / ground distance
tan 36 = height /1000
1000*tan 36 = height of the building
726.5 feet
