Question 341689: sinx = cos2x
Solve the equation?.....is that possible?

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20081)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Use the identity on the right side:

The left side factors just like factors as

Set each factor = 0

Setting the first factor = 0

Setting the second factor = 0

So there are 3 solutions in degrees between 0° and 360°.
