Question 338779: is the statement true or false?

tan(26*)sec(26*)=1

For this one, forget the 26*.
Instead, look at the definition of tangent and secant
tangent = (sin)/(cos)
secant = 1/(cos)
Since these two trig defintions are not reciprocals, then their product will not be "1".
The reciprocal of tagent is cotangent.
The reciprocal of secant is cosine.

Thus the answer is "False"
