Find an angle between -2pi and 0 that is coterminal with 5/12pi. Explain your answer in radians in terms of pi.
----
(5/12)pi - (2pi)
---
= (5/12) - (24/12)pi
---
= (-19/12)pi

Angles are coterminal if they have the same terminal side.
In your sample question, we need to find one angle, in radians, that has the same terminal side as 5pi/12.
You can sketch the angles and often tell just form looking at them if they are coterminal. Otherwise, for each angle do the following:
If the angle is positive, keep subtracting 360 from it until the result is between 0 and 360. (In radians, 360° = 2π radians)
If the angle is negative, keep adding 360 until the result is between 0 and 360. If the result is the same for both angles, they are coterminal.
2pi - (5/12)pi = (19/12)pi
