Question 32644: show the steps to simplify the first expression to the second expression:
I'll let theta be equal to x.
csc^2x - cot^2x/1+tan^2x , cos^2x
thanks so much to whomever can help me with this!

Answer by venugopalramana(3286)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(csc^2x - cot^2x)/(1+tan^2x)
=1/SEC^2 X...SINCE COSEC^2 X - COT^2 X=1..AND 1+TAN^2 X = SEC^2 X
=COS^2 X
