The amplitude is always the abs value of the coefficient:
Amp = 3

The period is 2pi/3.
It's always 2pi divided by the coefficient of the argument.

y=a sin(bx-c)+ d where |a| = amplitude, 2pi/b = period. -3x = |3| (amplitude) and 2pi/3 = period
