Question 315948: Please help me solve this equation: find the exact value,in radians,of theta if tan= -1/squrert(3) and theta lies in quadrant two?
the only thing that i have come up with is that tan 1/squrert(3) is the same as 30 degree.
Answer by Alan3354(69443) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The tan(30) is 1/sqrt(3)
It quadrant 2, it's 180 - 30 = 150º
You can check it on most calculators.
150º = 5pi/6 radians
