If cos(theta)<0 theta is in the 2nd or 3rd quadrant.
------------------------
If sin(theta) = -4/5 then y = -4 and r = 5
So now you know that theta is in the 3rd quadrant.

x = sqrt(r^2-y^2) = sqrt(25-16) = 3
But theta is in the 3rd quadrant so x = -3

sin = -4/5
cos = -3/5
tan = 4/3

csc = -5/4
sec = -5/3
ctn = 3/4
