Question 293884: Hi there
I need to use the difference formula for tangents and the given and calculated values
tan(a-B)= tana-tanB / 1+ tanatanB =
(-8/15)-(Sqrt15/7) / 1+(-8/15)(sqrt15/7) =
-56-15sqrt15 / 105-8sqrt15 =
- 7680+2023sqrt15/10065
I can work the problem up until the last section and from there I can not figure out to to get -56-15sqrt15 (etc) to 7680+2023 (etc) can anyone show me step my step how to do the last section?
Thank you so much!
