Find y:
y = sqrt(3^2 + 5^2)
y = sqrt(9+25)
y = sqrt(34)

Note: y is negative in the Quadrant IV
So y = -sqrt(34)

cos = x/r = 3/5
tan = y/x = -sqrt(34)/3
