Question 259016: determine the quadrant in which theta lies if sec of theta<0 and tan of theta>0
Answer by drk(1908)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First sec(theta) is really 1/ cos(theta)
We want 1 / cos(theta) < 0. This happens is Quadrants II and III
Second, the tan(theta) > 0 in quadrants I and III.
So they overlap in quad III
